SUMMARY:OmniAction introduction via Zoom to stakeholders
DESCRIPTION:Register here to meet the launch team behind OmniAction and learn more about how you can participate. \nOmniAction is a new not-for-profit which will produce a unified global framework measuring the health and sustainability impacts of the food system. This science-based\, verified and independent framework will be made available as a public good to all actors across global agrifood. \nIt’s a unified repository for data collection and analysis\, monitoring all relevant human rights impacts of the food system. Namely across: nutrition\, food safety\, environmental impact\, land sovereignty and labour rights. \nIt will oversee independent monitoring and verification. Future uses of the framework are expected to include benchmarking\, integration into policy-driven data collection\, and a consumer-facing front of pack label\, an Omnilabel. \nOmniAction began as a campaign by food systems B2B title Quota.Media in connection to the UN Food Systems Summit. This success saw advocacy turn into action – hence OmniAction. \nFurther background: \n\nUN FSS proposal\nPre-Food Systems Summit event\nUN Food Systems Summit side event\n\nSign up here to join the event on January 27th.
