OmniAction is a new not-for-profit which will produce a unified global framework measuring the health and sustainability impacts of the food system. This science-based, verified and independent framework will be made available as a public good to all actors across global agrifood.
It’s a unified repository for data collection and analysis, monitoring all relevant human rights impacts of the food system. Namely across: nutrition, food safety, environmental impact, land sovereignty and labour rights.
It will oversee independent monitoring and verification. Future uses of the framework are expected to include benchmarking, integration into policy-driven data collection, and a consumer-facing front of pack label, an Omnilabel.
OmniAction began as a campaign by food systems B2B title Quota.Media in connection to the UN Food Systems Summit. This success saw advocacy turn into action – hence OmniAction.
