The Chocolate War, directed by Miki Mistrati, has been nominated for Cinema for Peace, CPH DOX and Warsaw International Film Festival awards.Miki follows human rights lawyer Terrence Collingsworth – who he views as a real life Jason Bourne – via Ivory Coast plantations and the Supreme Court in Washington DC. Terry is working to convict Nestlé and Cargill of systematically exploiting children in Ivory Coast cocoa production.It’s a lonely fight against the multi-billion-dollar chocolate industry and their army of lawyers. Beautifully filmed and edited, Screen Daily described the movie as “an illuminating call to arms.”
